Patient visits: approx. 1000 per year (physician-patient contacts; excludes patient visits for chemotherapy, blood components, nursing visits)
Services: Full service, outpatient facility, open weekdays 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.  Most private referrals are seen at this site. Provides for outpatient chemotherapy, antibiotic, blood component, etc. administration

Patient Visits: approx. 1000 per year
Services: Full service Hematology. No on-site capability for chemotherapy or
blood product administration. Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
treatment room at University Hospital is used for outpatient
chemotherapy and/or blood product administration for some of these
patients.

Patient Population: Approximately 100 multiple myeloma patients
Services: Focusing on multiple myeloma. Multidisciplinary care for multiple myeloma.
  • University Hospital Hematology/Oncology Outpatient Unit

      Location: UH, 6 South wing, adjacent to the 6 East Hematology/
      Oncology/BMT unit.
      Staff: 2 RNs, rotating attending faculty, fellows
      Patient Visits: Approx. 280 per month
      Services: outpatient bone marrow transplants,
      chemotherapy, blood product administration
      - special procedures, e.g. bone marrow aspirations/biopsies
      - outpatient evaluations of established patients
      Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., weekdays; weekends, evenings, nights by special arrangement.

Location: University Health System - Downtown

Patient Visits: Approx. 300 active patients.
Services: Monitoring and management of patients on long-term anticoagulation.
Referral point for new patients needing coagulation workups.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. weekdays
